T-Ball

Baseball is by far my favorite sport to watch and I've been waiting for the day I could sign Dominick up for t-ball. Where we live in Ohio they have programs for 3-4 year olds so Ryan and I talked about it along with asked Dom if he was interested in playing and he said yes. I think it was only a 6 week long thing with games once a week and practices once a week. He was really into the games, but not so much the practices. By the end of the 6 weeks he was hitting the ball so well and was still bored out of his gore when it was their turn to be in the outfield. I think he was glad he did it and will say he wants to do baseball again. Isn't he adorable?!

2016 Family Pictures

Back in May when I found out I was pregnant I really wanted to do a surprise photo session to tell Ryan. Unfortunately the photographer wasn't available for a few weeks and I didn't want to keep the secret from Ryan for so long so I told him instead, but we did have some pictures taken to document the exciting time. We had them done in a poppy field near where we live and I loved how they turned out. Looking back at these makes me realize how much Dominick has grown since then.

Day Out With Thomas

Back in the spring I heard that there was going to be a Day Out With Thomas experience not too far from where we lived. It was going to be after Ryan had left so we asked some friends if they wanted to join us and bought the tickets. I didn't tell Dom about it leading up so I could surprise him and he was just so excited. He was excited to spend the day with his friend, to ride on a real train and see Thomas up close and personal. It was HOT, but I would totally recommend getting tickets if this experience comes to a city near where you live!

Clifton Gorge

One day back in April we went for a family hike near some gorges. It was a beautiful day and we got to see some waterfalls and enjoy being outside. We really enjoy going for hikes because we can get some exercise, spend time as a family and be outside. It's really a win, win. This was our first time hiking Clifton Gorge. There were some bridges that just made me VERY nervous with Dominick, but he really did great. We ended up hiking about 3 miles.
