About Me

Hi, I'm Allison! My husband, Ryan and I were married October 21, 2010 12 days before he left for Air Force basic training. We dated for 4.5 years prior and were engaged for only 13 days. We renewed our vows June 17, 2011, 2 days after Ryan's birthday. We welcomed our first baby, a precious boy on September 3, 2012. His name is Dominick and he is our world.

We are originally from Michigan, but are living in Southern California at our first base. I blog for our families back home and to document our days in hopes that I will have something to look back on when our memories aren't so good.  I mostly blog about Dominick, but sometimes I'll add in some other good stuff that's happening in our lives.

For some random facts about us:
-We have 2 fur babies, Calli (a husky) and Rocky (a lab mix).
-I have a Bachelors in Accounting Information Systems, but do nothing in the career field right now.
-Ryan is a Bio Environmental Engineer in the US Air Force
-I am a contractor for a government agency that is known world wide.
-I'm a midwesterner, but I say y'all AND fixin.
-My favorite colors are black, purple, pink and blue
-I'm kind of obsessed with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers
-I am obsessed with country music
-We are all Michigan State Spartan fans
-Ryan loves hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, a good beer, working out, being a daddy and other boy things
-I love photography, shopping, being a momma, quilting, reading, reality tv and wine...lots of wine (or margaritas).
-Dominick is learning and growing every day. He loves toys that make musics, walks, his jumperoo, Sophie and he loves, loves, loves his doggies.
