Kai,

This month has been the biggest change from you. You are just THE happiest baby! Your personality is starting to show more, you talk more, smile more and giggle easier. It's the best!

We moved you to your crib this month and it was such a good transition. You are almost sleeping through the night, but you will wake up when you realize you've lost your pacifier. I'm okay with that though because we are *THIS CLOSE* to being there. We moved you on the 30th of July.

You give open mouth kisses, are a stage 5 clinger and you LOVE your momma! You also love your big brother and are constantly trying to be by him or find him. You think he's the funniest person ever. You're also already trying to stand up to your play table and sit to stand walker.

You started going to daycare at Rainbow on the 10th and we LOVE your teachers and the care that you are getting there. You got your first black eye the first week of school, but barely cried.

You also got your first 2 teeth on the bottom sometimes between the 10th-13th of July. You can now sit up unassisted and can go from laying to sitting on your own. You started crawling and are really getting good at it. You still don't know how far you can go or that you can follow Momma, but it won't be long. You are still eating solids and you love green beans, broccoli, pork, steak and chicken, You're definitely going to be a steak and potatoes kind of guy.

We think you are the bees knees and are absolutely smitten over you. You are the happiest little guy and we can't get over how much we needed you in our family. We all love you and can't wait to see you after being away. We love you to infinity and beyond. Happy half a year, baby boy!

Love,

Momma

Kai,

This month has been a big one for sure. We put you in the pool for the first time this month and you did pretty good. You didn't love it, but you didn't hate it either. I think once you're in it a little bit more you're going to be a big fan. Dominick finished tball so that means your schedule got better and you weren't being thrown into a car seat to go here, there and everywhere! We also celebrated your Daddy's THIRTIETH birthday and Father's Day. He had to leave early the morning of Father's Day, but we sure do love him a lot. You spent your last days at Mrs. Jen's and we will miss having her watch you. We knew you were loved and well taken care of there. I'm pretty sure if it wasn't for Mrs. Jen Momma wouldn't have went back to work. It makes all the difference having trust in the person who's caring for your baby.

This month you started getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth.  Crawling is going to be happening soon. You will also do this thing where you will get a little momentum forward and kind of do the worm. I know it will be happening soon, but I also wouldn't mind if you decided to slow it down a little bit.
Another big thing that happened this month was that you tried solids! You have tried broccoli, avocado and puffs. You really like broccoli and acted like you knew exactly what to do with it. You were also a fan of avocado, but it was hard for you to grab it and the fork isn't as ideal.

The most exciting part of this month is you travelled 7.5 HOURS in the car for your first trip to PENTWATER! We had such a fun trip and it was just a great week. You got to experience the beach for the first time and you were a big fan. You napped and just did so well overall. You enjoyed dipping your toes in the sand as well. I cannot wait to have more Pentwater memories with you.

We know there are some teeth that are going to be coming soon. You just chew and chew and chew on everything. You're also quite drooly. You are such an easy going baby and the happiest little guy around.

You are sweet as pie and your smile can brighten the darkest of days. You are such a little blessing and we just love you more and more each day. It seems like you are becoming more and more content and easy going as you get older. Your little personality is coming out more and more and we just love it! We can't get enough of you big guy! You made my heart grow in BIG ways. I love you to infinity and beyond!

Love,

Momma
