September-December: Catching Up

September:
+We celebrated Dominick's FOURTH birthday with a trip to Indianapolis for a family friend's wedding. My brothers and their wives and my parents were there. It was a no kids wedding, but Dom was able to go. He felt really special getting to be loved on by my family. Dominick went home with my parents for the week and then came back the following weekend.

+Dominick's Barnyard Bash was on the 10th and my parents came down for it.

+Got to see Santa

December:
+I did a Christmas book advent for Dominick and it was BIG hit. Also something we will continue doing every year.
+Let Dom go shopping at Tykes Shoppe (it's a "shop" where kids can go and pick out gifts without the help of their parents. An "elf" will be assigned to your child and you give them a spending limit and they can go in and shop for Christmas gifts. Dom was allowed to shop for his Papa, Gigi, Mommy and Daddy).
+We made a handprint calendar
+Mommy had a girls day with friends and went to lunch, shopping and for pedicures. It was a great day.
+We attemped a ginger bread house
+Made Christmas cookies
+Santa went by on a Humvee and was escorted by the police. I told Dom to hurry and get his shoes on to go outside (to wave to Santa). He heard the police sirens and started crying. He said I don't wanna go to jail!!!!!!!!!!! I said we are going to wave to Santa. He was okay with that and these pictures still make me want to tear up. His face was magical.

+My parents came to celebrate Christmas with us
+We went bowling (once while my parents were here and once again after they left)

+We ended the year with our framily
